Description
Allison and Allison designed the 1921 Burbank High School located at 902 North Third Street. In 2001, the architectural firm of gkkworks undertook a modernization project. The first phase was an administration and classroom building and a library. Phase two demolished existing classroom buildings, and built a new gymnasium, swimming pool, and parking structure with tennis courts on the roof. The existing 1,300-seat auditorium was preserved and renovated.
