Photograph caption dated August 7, 1956 reads "Spectators stand around broken bicycle of Michael Boylan, 14, of North Hollywood, who was killed when he was thrown from his bike under the wheels of heavy gravel truck on Lankershim boulevard at Weddington street in North Hollywood. Truck driver Vincent Loreno, 33, drove several hundred feet before he learned of accident."
