Photograph caption dated February 8, 1965 reads, "Defending champion Luther (Wimpy) Lassiter watches five-time runner-up Jimmy Moore line up a shot in practice session during lull in 36-day world's pocket billiard championships at Burbank's American Billiard Parlor. Lassiter plays Onofrio Lauri tonight at 10. Moore comes back tomorrow night at the same time against Jimmy Cattrano, one of the favorites in the $19,500 tournament."
