Description
Photograph of Nevada County Views, showing North Star Gold Quartz Mill from the front, ca.1910. In the background at left, a line of utility poles can be seen extending into the distance. At right, a large dirt mound is visible. At center, a large, layered building with a slanted roof can be seen. The building slopes upwards into the background, as if it were built against a mountain wall. Three visible layers of the building can be seen with a line of windows below the roof of each layer. Several more windows can be seen along the line of the structure. In the extreme background, large hills can be seen. At center, a metallic structure is visible, while additional buildings can be seen to the left.
