Description
Northwest corner of Julian and San Pedro Streets, San Jose, California, in November 2002. The excavation of polluted soil on former location of Eggo Corporation. In 1929-1933 Eggo made potato chips here. The C.H. Dietz/Garden City Chip Co. operated at this location prior to Eggo Corp. Cooking oil leaked from vats contaminating the site.
