Description
Bernard Grethel Sr. and son Bernard Jr. (for whom Bernard Street was later named). Grethel Hall was located over the Sequoia Saloon, left in background. The first Board of Trustees met in Grethel Hall on September 4, 1900. The Wells Fargo Bank at 18 Miller Avenue was there as of 2010.
