Photograph article dated October 27, 1960 partially reads, "Climaxing the first annual "Gay Nineties" skeet shoot, a comparitive [sic] newcomer and Maywood resident, Bob Sale took the top "All-around Championship" honors with a 99x100 score. More than 75 entered last week's shoot at the Golden Valley Gun Club's meet, to fire the registered birds under National Skeet Shooting Association rules... Champion Sale used a Browning Over and Under gun in taking his title. He has been an active shotgun shooter for only four years. Like many Southland shooters he has found his way to the Valley and the excellent facilities of the gun clubs." Pictured is Fred Porter (left), one of the officials, presenting the trophy to 'Champ' Bob Sale.
