Photograph of an old Navajo brave and his nephew (or grandchild) huddled in their blankets. The old man has long graying hair, a wrinkled visage, and light hair growth on his cheeks, chin, and upper lip. Under the striped blanket, which is pulled tightly around his shoulders, is a striped shirt. He also wears long trousers and moccasins. The boy, at left, has dark hair with a bandana tied around his forehead. He wears long trousers and moccasins and his blanket has a stepped diamond pattern. They are both sitting with their backs to a stone or adobe wall.
