Granger, 25 and gunman, whose arrest may lead to a solution of the Lindbergh baby slaying, is shown at left, at the Riverside Station of the Metropolitan Police with Sergeant Chisholm, his captor, and officer Walsh. In Granger's bag, held by the sergeant, was a code message bearing the notation "Kidnap Lindbergh."
