Description: Photograph caption dated May 24, 1987 reads, "Had this been an actual emergency, the accident and spilled hazardous material would have caused real injuries. But the drill gave emergency crews in Pico Rivera a chance to test their preparedness after the simulated accident between a tanker truck and an RTD bus posing as a school bus. Volunteers from 34 agencies took part in Friday's drill at Paramount Boulevard and Mines Avenue, which elevators praised as a big success."
