Description
Watchman's time recorder, Model WC 50, in leather case with carrying strap. Used by the City of San Jose at Alum Rock Park. The watchman would have a number of stations to check, where there would be a numbered key. He or she would turn the key in the clock, which would record the time he was at the station, ensuring that the guard kept to regular rounds.
