Description
Jail cell is made a sheets of metal riveted together to form a box. Inside there is a metal wall dividing the box into two cells. Each cell has an operating door on the short end. Each doors has a small window type openings at the top with an operable cover. The cell ceiling is made of a grid of open rectangles. (This may have been added at a later time to allow air into the cell) The interior walls of the both rooms have graffiti overall. In one room the there are two names surrounded by borders, patriotic symbols and a date painted (?) on the left side of the back wall. The names are : Daniel Blue 1876 and Charles Yates 1876, There are also faint images of five different baseball players painted along the lower half of the back and left side wall. The walls on the second cell have a lesser amount a graffiti. Some initials and dates. There are some playing cards etched into the wall to the right side of the door. There is a significant amount of rust overall and both cells have lost metal especially in the front corners.
