Description
Shown in this 1940 postcard is a scene from the Sacramento County town of Elk Grove. Between approximately 1930, when linen-backed cards first appeared, and 1959, when production ceased, horses and horseback riding in Elk Grove would have been as common as tractors and pick-up trucks.
