Description
The printed message on the verso of the postcard reads, "a re-creation of its turn-of-the-century Victorian splendor. Near everything in Downtown Los Angeles...but for charm and comfort, nothing will come near it!"
A postcard showing four interior views of the Alexandria Hotel, located on the corner of Fifth and Spring Streets. Clockwise from the upper left: a guest room with 2 queen size beds; a seating area in the lobby; a guest room with 2 queen beds; the Palm Court ballroom showing the original Tiffany glass skylights. The Alexandria Hotel was designed by architect John Parkinson in 1906.
