Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on March 10, 1960 with this picture and the two portrait photos inset in the corners states: "At right is the log cabin Susanville Boy Scouts donated to the county historical society and left is Roop's Fort, a Lassen County historical spot. Inset upper left is William H. Pratt, deceased president of the historical society, and upper right is a picture of the late George Borden, in whose memory the Scouts will install a plaque."
