Description
Black and white photograph showing a section of a Nigerian railway, with two tracks. The photographer's finger can be seen in the foreground of the image. Nigerian young men and boys can be seen on the track, many in ragged clothes, carrying items on their heads. Palm trees surround the railway tracks. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Hospital, a facility run by the Methodist Missionary Society.
