Description
Photograph of an exterior view of a public high school in Nevada City, ca.1900. The lightly-shaded structure stands three stories tall at center with what appears to be white trim around the windows and doorway. Six columns stand in front of the entrance with four arched windows directly above. The many other windows are rectangular including those in the second identical structure behind the first and to the right. A pole extends from the buildings while a few skeletal trees supported by short, wooden beams are all that decorate the desolate yard out front.
