Description
This is a photograph of a "Lun Poh-the friend of the Maryknoller's in the Kongmoon [now Jiangmen] Vicariate. She is 84 and a great grandmother but you ought to see the load she can carry. Her house is a boat, her occupation baggage smasher. Her boast is that she spent two nights in jail for giving a ride to one of our priests during the 'red' trouble. Some of us call her mother, some 'beautiful'. She is still a pagan although she goes to Mass on Sundays."
