Description
Photograph article dated November 17, 1960 reads, "Mrs. Genevieve C. Harmon of Mountain View school, 6410 Olcott St., Tujunga, has been an elementary school principal for eight years. Mrs. Harmon, a widow, lives at 5651 Fallston St., Los Angeles. She has two stepsons, Harry, 21, and James, 20. She was born Dec. 27, 1912, at Aztec, N.M., where she attended high school. She holds bachelor of science degrees in education from USC. Mrs. Harmon is a member of Pi Lambda Theta and Delta Kappa Gamma honorary women's education fraternities. She also is a member of the Association of Elementary School Administrators and the California Elementary School Administrator's Association. She has been a principal of Breed St., Monte Vista St., and Sheridan St. Elementary Schools. Her hobby is color photography."
