Photograph of a distant view of the Zuni Indian pueblo, Tai-zo-al-a-ne (Thunder Mountain), 1898. Constructed on a low bluff, the dozens of dwellings, some stacked upon others, have flat roofs and are accessed via ladders. A few structures are visible to the left of the main pueblo. A large butte is visible in the distance at right.
