South Arcot District, India.The front of the bungalow Emmaus. Erik Valdemar and Ellen Gøtzsche were missionaries in India, 1896-1909. They built the big bungalow Emmaus, which is now part of the High School at Nellikuppam. While digging the foundation, they found a number of temple artefacts, still kept at the National Museum in Copenhagen.
