Photograph caption dated August 1, 1960 reads, "To help focus attention on tonight's free ballet performance at Burbank's Starlight Bowl, young ballerina Valerie Stewart, 12, of Van Nuys, strikes a pose atop Burbank City Hall fountain. Valerie is one of several Valley youngsters appearing at 8:15 p.m. with Bert Prival Youth Ballet Company in two original pieces, 'Puss In Boots' and 'Fashions Of Fifth Avenue.'"
