Description
Blue and brownish green plaid silk dress with cotton collar. All hand sewn. Bodice: Dropped shoulder seam - 22" across. Shoulder seam rolls over to back bodice. V neck opening - hooked front closure. Short front bodice darts. Straight across waist. Tan cotton lining. Fichu: Separate cotton gauze collar tucks into front opening, rounded back, basted to dress. Sleeve: Curved seam fitted to arm shape. Tiny cord fitted in arm seam. Sleeve has blue silk lining. Skirt: Small width hoop skirt. Cartridge pleated at waist, lining and fabric pieces sewn together. Seams thread wrapped. Hem bound with blue 1/4" woven band.
