„Alter, heidnischer Tembu, der sich in Nxotschane zur Taufe meldet“ (“An old, Heathen Tembu who signs up for the baptism in Nxotschane“).
Samuel Baudert (1879-1956), born as son of the missionary Samuel Baudert in South Africa, was mission director of the Moravian Brethren from 1924 to 1927 and since 1929 their bishop.
