Photograph caption dated March 15, 1957 reads "Fathers and sons of Kiowa Nation, Y-Indian guide program of Mid-Valley YMCA, take part in induction ceremony for new members. In full costume are Hank Tikotsky and son, Stephen, 9, at left, and Rich Hall and son, Billy, 7." The YMCA was located at 14515 Hamlin Street, Van Nuys. A replacement facility, at 6901 Lennox Avenue, Van Nuys, was built in 1961.
