Photograph caption dated June 21, 1958 reads, "Step toward goal - Completion of above Chapel in the Canyon, 9012 Topanga Canyon, Canoga Park, is step toward long-range program to establish West Valley retreat. Structure features greens across front, plantings along sides and door that is never locked. Gold-colored rug will be used for weddings. Prayer garden, library and other buildings are behind chapel.
