The storm that drenched the lowlands left snow in the highlands, and mountain areas were wearing white for St. Patrick's Day on March 17, 1954. This view is at the Tejon Pass, elevation 4183 feet, on the road to Bakersfield. Two to three inches of snow fell in mountain areas, with another storm on its way.
