Description
Photograph of San Francisco earthquake damage, showing ruins of the Orpheum and Alcazar Theaters, 1906. The buildings which line the street into the background have suffered heavy damage. Their roofs have crumbled to the ground and most of their exterior walls are spilling into the street at center. Toppled electrical poles lie over the debris. Copyrighted and published by J.D.
