Title supplied by cataloger. Vesta Ransom Fay, born November 22, 1859 in Suez, Ill., moved to Burbank in 1937 to live with her son Donald. She previously had been living in Sanford, Fla. with her husband, Dr. Joseph Fay, until his death in 1924. Photograph dated November 23, 1964 reads, "Big Day -- Mrs. Fay Vista [sic] [Vesta Ransom Fay] gets a kiss from Abraham Zaro, on her 105th birthday which she celebrated yesterday. "I've waited a long time for someone to do that," she said, as the director of the Laurel Canyon Convalescent Home, 7541 Laurel Canyon Blvd., where she lives, gave her the kiss."
