Photograph caption dated September 24, 1963 reads, "Former U.S. Agriculture Secretary Ezra Taft Benson praises founder Robert Welch, seated, as 'one of the greatest patriots in American history' at a $50-a-plate testimonial dinner in Hollywood. More than 1,700 persons attended the Monday night event. Seated next to Welch is his wife Marion."
