Photograph of an exterior view of architect Wallace Neff's experimental bubble houses in Los Angeles, ca.1940-1949. A line of three dome-shaped mud structures is at center. The buildings have large square windows protruding from their curved sides. Tall rectangular doorways can be seen on two of the structures. In the foreground at left, a man is stooped over and working with a hoe. There is a pile of lumber at left and a pile of dirt at right.
