Description
Matching bodice & skirt, looks like one-piece dress when worn. Black windowpane woven sheer net over pewter gray silk. A: Bodice-Gathered at waist & shoulders, mandarin collar. Long sleeves slightly puffed at shoulder, & wrist. Fastens with black metal hooks & eyes down center front. Inside of bodice is fully lined in tan cotton, finished by hand & boned. B: Skirt is ankle length, pleated at waist & flared to hem; underskirt has three rows of 2" self-fabric ruffles at the hem. Net flounced & gathered 8" at hem. Skirt fully lined in tan cotton, red silk facing at hem, 6 "deep. Hem bound in brown chenille. Waistband fastened with black metal hooks & eyes originally; machine-sewn two strips of black elastic to the waistband opening wear silk is shredding.
