The medical staff, at Chogoria, were mainly responsible for the eradication of yaws from the district as it was easily treated with a single injection. Dr Irvine wrote on the disease in his thesis for his degree from the University of Aberdeen. ❧ This image is from the first years of the Chogoria mission in Kenya, which was run by the Rev.
