Den første udenlandske gæst, der besøgte Det Danske Missionsselskab (DMS) i anledning af 150 års dagen, 17. juni 1971, var den nyudnævnte præsident for Det Lutherske Præsteseminarium i Hongkong, professor, dr. theol. Andrew Hsiao. Professoren har deltaget i et internationalt kirkemøde i Amsterdam og benyttede lejligheden til at besøge København, hvor han ved en hastigt sammenkaldt reception på selskabets kontor overbragte en gave fra kinesiske kristne. Greetings from Chinese friends. The first foreign guest visiting the Danish Missionary Society (DMS) on the occasion of 150th anniversary, June 17 1971, was the newly appointed President of the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Hong Kong, Professor, DD Andrew Hsiao. The professor has participated in an international Church Meeting in Amsterdam and took the opportunity to visit Copenhagen, where he, at a hastily convened reception at the DMS office, presented a gift from the Chinese Christians.
