Description
Connie and Dan begin the interview discussing America’s involvement in Afghanistan and the mistakes the U.S. made there, and the rising importance of Pakistan. They proceed to talk about how Dan became inspired to write the book during a trip to Camp Pendleton beach, the importance of Osama Bin Landen’s presence, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the contested Saudi territory. Connie and Dan move on to talk about the supremacy of Iran in the Middle East and the rationale for the U.S. invasion of Iraq before moving on to talk about what the present and future course of American policy in Iraq should be. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
