A big bulldozer is shown smoothing crushed rocks down the sloped sides of the riverbed. When the rocks are smoothed, concrete is pourd over them. All banks gouged out by previous floods in the Verdugo Wash, have been repaired and smoothed. Photo dated: December 2, 1938.
