Description
"Chapmaus-Peak. Hout-Bay bei Kapstadt." ("Chapman's Peak. Hout Bay near Cape Town."). In the background mountains and the ocean. The Chapman's Peak Road in the foreground. Three adults, a bearded man and two women, and a child are standing on the road, some looking at the photographer.
Chapmaus-Peak must be Chapman's Peak Road, a coastal road near Cape Town. -- This picture was taken by Willibald Paul Schaberg (1900-?). He worked as a missionary in South Africa West, mostly in Elim. He married Elfriede Henriette Johanna Nigrin (born 1898) in Herrnhut near Dresden, Germany, in 1929. It is not known when and where he stopped working and died.
