In 1973, Frank Robinson founded Robinson Helicopter Company, which employs about 1,200 employees. In addition to manufacturing helicopters, Robinson includes a research and development division, has an overhaul program to service older helicopters and offers educational courses for flight instructors and maintenance technicians.
A female employee can be seen wiring the top panel of an R44 helicopter Raven II engine at the Robinson Helicopter Company plant. Behind her, other employees work on different sections.
