Description
910720; BTEN; 16; The inscription left by Kendrick and obliterated by the weather was back of the shrubbery left of upper center. The inscription cut by the Brown party was back of the shrubbery near the left margin. The Stanton survey work began at the edge of the shrubbery right of upper center. McCormick was a member of the "Best Expedition" which followed the Brown-Stanton survey to exploit the mineral values which were reported. Print sent to The State Historical Society of Colorado for use with the Brown-Stanton item in "The Colorado" magazine in 1970. [See original page for photocopied contour map]
