Los Angeles' big bond-pledging campaign started in earnest with 50,000 minute men and minute women taking part in the house-to-house drive. Photo shows Alexander Robertson, with his wife, Mrs. Robertson, left, and son, Don, signing bond pledges sold to them by Minute Woman Jean Kindley, right. Photo dated: May 25, 1942.
