Description
"Orphanage's Home
Miss Mary Higa, (center) orphanage director, poses with two "mother" of the orphan children's home after the dedication Saturday afternoon. At left is Hiroko Matsuda and to the right of Miss Higa is Toyoko Aniya. Three other persons make up the staff, two cooks and a building custodian." The Yonabaru Orphanage was started by missionaries from the United Methodist Church in Post-War Okinawa.
