Photograph of the monument marking the Battle of San Pascual, ca.1920. At center a dozen stone steps are visible leading to a dirt lot. At the end of the dirt lot, a boulder with a plaque fixed to it is visible. Standing to the right on the middle stair is a woman wearing a plaid dress and a hat. To the left and right of the stairs is a low stone wall, and two pillars are visible at the end of the wall where the top of the stairs meet the dirt lot. Plants are visible on top of the pillars. A grassy and rocky hill is visible in the background. Photoprint reads: "Monument marking the Battle of San Pascual erected by The Daughters of Am. Revolution 8 miles E. of Escondido".
