Photograph caption dated July 11, 1961 reads "After failing to agree on a July 29th exhibition game for Valley College, featuring the Los Angeles Rams, this committee did announce that plans are under way to bring the Rams to the San Fernando Valley in 1962 for a charity cause. Pictured are, left, Len Orteg, coach of the Valley All-Stars, one of the teams the Rams were to meet; Ben L. O'Brien, president of Pacoima Lutheran Hospital (funds were to go to hospital); Bill John, business manager of the Rams; Dr. Angelo Macciarella, president of Pacoima Kiwanis and Joe Gaudio, director of development for Pacoima Lutheran Hospital."
