Description
A paper with the photograph reads "From: Scripps College, Office of Information, Dorothy Crane Engle. The pressure cooker-server-storage unit is shown on the 3-sink service island. Designed by Petterson, the kitchen island incorporates in one sink a vegetable preparation center and disposal unit, and washing and rinsing sinks. It is made of a special hard-knock porcelain which achieves unique qualities by the use of zircon, a jet engine development."
