Photograph article dated May 9, 1961 partially reads, "Sundance is no ordinary horse although he's no different in size and coloring from hundreds of other horses corralled in the West Valley. Until this week he was therapy for a young Chatsworth mother of three. His jiggling gait and easy manner kept her polio-weakened leg muscles exercised and unknotted. But today, Sundance is gone. The chestnut-colored animal either strayed away and is lost somewhere in the Chatsworth area, or he was stolen. Mrs. Virginia Olsen, 24, 21040 Nordhoff St., Chatsworth, owner of Sundance, said the horse vanished a week ago." Mrs. Olsen and daughter Donna, 4, pictured along with some furry friends.
