Description
Loyalist mural, Hopewell Crescent, Lower Shankill, West Belfast, 2001. Mural commemorating William Bucky McCullough, killed by INLA 1981; the mural is painted on the McCullough family house. Portrait of 'Lt. Col. William Bucky McCullough 1949 - 1981. In loving memory of all our fallen comrades from 'A' Coy 'B' Coy 'C' Coy 2nd Batt. UFF West Belfast Brigade. Murdered by the enemies of Ulster. Always Remembered. Quis separabit' (motto of the UDA, who shall separate us); two pillars with names of other UDA/UFF volunteers killed during the conflict; insignia of UDA and UFF, two Loyalist volunteers stand guard at side of scroll; wreaths attached to mural.
