Photograph article dated July 29, 1963 partially reads, "A Valley firm, Whittaker Controls and Guidance Division of Telecomputing Corporation, is playing a big role in the Saturn program. The Chatsworth division facility has built and successfully tested the largest valve ever designed for flight application. The huge valve is designed to shut off the flow of liquid oxygen used as propellant in the Saturn S-1C in case of emergency, adding to the safety of the project."
