Supplemental material reads: "Society desk For Sunday Attention Carter Ludlow. Cottinghams. When you read this, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Cottingham, (Mildred), prominent in Huntington Beach and Newport Beach social and yachting circles, will be starting month's tour of the Hawaiian Islands. They are shown on board Matson Liner Matsonia when they sailed from Wilmington earlier this week. They arrived in Honolulu yesterday. He is also prominent in business and civic circles in the South Beaches. The Cottinghams hosted a going away party to the 150 members of the two Beach Cities' social set. 11/26/58".
