Photograph of New grammar school at Hanford, 1900. In the foreground, a series of young trees supported with wooden planters can be seen in a grassy yard. In the background at center, the large grammar school is visible. The school consists of two rectangular sections, separated by the stairs leading to the covered entryway at center. Tall, rectangular windows line the sides of the building. At the center of the building, a rectangular tower supporting a large flag pole can be seen. Additional homes are visible in the extreme background at right.
