Description
An estimated 1500 homeless men and boys were served Christmas dinners at the Midnight Mission, 326 South Los Angeles Street. Benny Swinn, one of five chefs who prepared the feast, serves George Alexander Wiley, former Marine major, at the head of the line. Menu included turkey with the usual Christmas trimmings. Photo dated: December 25, 1952.
